Curtis has been in the profession for 22 years. His client base includes brands that range from Global News and the NHL to Club House and the Government of Alberta. Curtis has photographed notable Canadians like Chris Hadfield, Connor McDavid, Robert Bateman and Brett Wilson.

His brand extends beyond just the big names —

“I like humans, the human element if you will. I like taking pictures of people. If I am shooting something like food, I like to include a human element if I can.”

Although his passion lies in the photography he also loves to engage in other business ventures. Curtis is a partner in the incredibly successful restaurant group Robert Spencer Hospitality which currently has 6 independent restaurants in Edmonton which includes Workshop Eatery and Woodshed Burgers. He owns a real estate rental company which holds land and rental units at the base of the Rocky Mountains in Southern Alberta and owns several rental units in the city of Edmonton. “Business ventures are about investing. People think successful investing is about money, but I think the most important part of an investment is the people you choose to invest in. I like to invest with passionate, slightly crazy and resilient people, like me.”

In his pass time Curtis is an avid fossil hunter spending days in the badlands hunting for dinosaur bones, collects original artwork, and dinosaur fossils. He is also dedicated to being the best father he can be to his 10 year old boy and 12 year old girl.
